Do you feel frustrated when you don’t understand some aspect of life?
Yes, I want to have an intuitive understanding.I think that eventually, I will understand everything.I especially crave inside information which may help me understand. No, I'm more of a action-oriented person.I'd like to go where the knowledge can be obtained.I want to be able to go within and see what makes things tick.
When you think of current events, do you wonder what future generations will experience?
I'm more into finding out what's going on and what people are experiencing now.Yes, I would like to be there and see for myself how the future unfolds.I'm more in the current moment, not involved in change but aware of the forces behind it.As I travel, I start to form a picture of the future, which intrigues me.Yes, I'd like to be able to get a glimpse of other times and places.I'm more interested in the details and inner workings of life than where it may lead.
When you hear about an important event, do you wonder what it would be like to be a fly on the wall there?
No, I just want to have inside knowledge, not necessarily be there.I'd just like to be able to wait until the information is available in the future.Sure, I'd love to be able to just walk in and listen. How about just fly there and find my way in?Yes, even events from the past or future. It would be enough to be outside and see what's going on at the event.
Are you fascinated by the ever-increasing speed of trains and airplanes?
Not particularly, I just want to know what's going on around me.I don't want to live fast, I just want to keep on living. It would be nice to get around quickly, but my main interest is quietly exploring the world.Yes! I wish I had wings or the strength to run very fast.Even the fastest transportation is nothing compared to instant travel.I'm more interested in going on within than covering a lot of ground.
Do you sometimes think that there must be a way to bypass the complexities of travel?
Airports and train stations make me want to know what everyone is thinking, where they are going.Time spent traveling is not my biggest concern. I love to explore each place I visit and experience things along the way.I'd like a way to get past the lines, that's for sure.Yes, I want my own jet or some other way to get myself there.I wish I didn't have to travel at all, just blink and be at my destination. It's tiring to travel, especially as I notice so many things that others don't.
When you see a package or building, do you want to know what’s inside?
It depends, sometimes I can already tell somehow.I often don't worry about things like that, I'm more of a big picture, long-term thinker.Sure, and I especially would like to go into buildings and explore them undetected.Sometimes, but I'm more curious about oceans and countries and such.I'd like to just pop into the building or arrive just as someone is opening the package.Yes, I'd enjoy being able to just look inside from where I stand.
When people express knowledge about things you don’t understand, are you jealous?
Sometimes I sense that they don't actually know what they say they do.I am a life-long learner, so no reason for jealousy.I have my own ways of finding things out which I think give me an advantage.I'm more interested in physical capabilities than knowledge -- give me power!I like learning things first hand, book knowledge doesn't make me jealous.I'm more into understanding, seeing what's inside.
Is life a lot of fun in a very short span of time for you?
Yeah, I am totally into it, and into the people around me.I am more of a long-term, laid-back person.Kind of, I get into the moment but I don't necessarily need to be a party person.Yes, high-speed, intense life is how I roll.I do like to be in the moment, but I tend to jump from moment to moment, not live in a continuous high-energy scene.I'm more into depth than intensity.
Are you shy but curious about social life?
Yeah, I'd do better if I knew what other people were thinking.Yeah, I want to get to know people but there's never enough time.Yeah, I'd like to get out more but not always be "on" and present.Definitely, I'd like to travel and meet people all over the world.I'd like to meet different people in lots of places, and sometimes I daydream about meeting people I read about in books.I'd like to have an ability that lets me feel more relaxed about people, like that public speaking trick of picturing them naked.
Do you envy the birds and their flight?
I want to know what it feels like to fly.I'd like to be reborn as a bird, yeah.Maybe I could turn into a bird sometimes and try it.Yes! I'd like to just jump up and keep going in the air.I just want to get to new places, not necessarily be so high up.I would love to be up there and see what the world is made of.
When you read about history, do you feel like you’re there?
From a good book, I begin to understand what people from history were thinking.I wish that the people from history were alive today to talk about it.I'd like to be a witness to current historical events.I like to learn about history from travel.Yes, I love the feeling of being there for events even thousands of years ago.I like to understand the depth of a single moment in history rather than follow a timeline.
Are you less interested in appearances than depth?
Yes, I can talk with people for long periods of time and really share what we're thinking. We all age and die, so it's the depth we develop that's more important.Appearances don't matter at all, or their variety makes them irrelevant in understanding people.Power and abilities are the important part, not appearances or depth. It's hard to focus on their when life moves so quickly.Depth is definitely where it's at. The surface just holds the real stuff together.
Do you often think about scientists like Einstein or Tesla, or psychological innovators like Freud or Jung?
Yes, I'd like to understand things and discover things like they did.I love how their thoughts and ideas endure.I'd like a skill that allowed me to study the world as they did. They were great thinkers, but I'm more of a doer. I'd like to excel at getting amazing things done instead.I'd like to meet them all!I'd like to know the inner workings of our world like they did.
Would you like to take on bigger projects than your career currently supports?
Yes, maybe some inside information would help me leverage my abilities.Sure, but who lives forever? If I didn't have so many interruptions and obstructions, I could do a lot more.I would just need to be Superman or something.Time is the problem.I'm not so much a big project, big picture person but I'd like to understand more in detail and use that for important purposes.
Would you like to help people and remain unknown?
Yeah, I'd like to know what their deepest needs are, though. The more people I could help, the better, too.Yes, wouldn't it be great to just deliver help and disappear?Maybe speed would be the way to do it, drop off kindness in a flash and disappear.Maybe do like Dr. Who and his Tardis and just pop in around the corner, help out and pop out again.I'd like to be able to see the unseen and give people the information they need to help themselves.
Would you like to drive a supercar or fly a jet plane?
I love watching videos where drivers reach amazing speeds, too, living vicariously.Yes! I'd love to push the limit in vehicles like that, not worrying about anything. If there were a way that I could just 'borrow' them while nobody was looking, that would be cool.Yes, I have the need for speed. It's the closest I could get to instantaneous travel.I'd be more interested in looking under the hood of those amazing machines!
Do you wonder if history is really true?
I'd like to know if people are telling the truth, lying, or just telling their own view when they speak about history.I'd like to be an expert who could tell future generations about my firsthand experiences.Yes, but everyone who records history has some kind of presence or involvement, what if someone could just be there secretly.I'm a live-in-the-moment kind of person, not worried about history so much.Yes, I wish I could check it out myself, experience history or visit with those who were there. When I read a history book, I want to see more of what's behind the stories I read, what made things tick back then.
Are you curious about the inner workings of the body?
Yes, especially the mind.Yes, I especially want to know why it wears out over time.I'd like to know how to make the body work invisibly, like it was made of air instead of blood and bone.I want to know how to make the body do more!I want to go back in time and watch early pathologists discovering the inner workings of the body.Yes, I'd love to be able to see it in operation without damaging it.
What kinds of stories do you like to hear?
I love stories with first-person narratives that reveal the character's thoughts and feelings.I like to hear stories of Greek gods and other beings who aren't limited by a normal lifespan.I love stories from the perspective of an observer, even a housepet. My favorite stories are ones where people have superhuman abilities like flight, speed or strength.I love stories where history or the future is seen from the perspective of someone who was born in the same generation as me.My favorite tales are ones where the narrator explains how something was built or designed, or when scientists or adventurers explore new places.
Do you think that the risk of death prevents us from truly living?
No, but I love video from cameras worn by skydivers and other maniacs, so I can get into what they are feeling. No, we can live to the max as if we'll never die.Yes, especially in dangerous situations where we might be killed by an enemy. It does make most of us cautious about high speeds -- I wish it didn't.Sometimes I wonder if that danger exists in time travel.Yes, it would be a shame for our wonderful elaborate bodies to die.
Would you behave differently if you knew that no one would judge you?
If we could somehow ignore that judgment, that would also help.I think over time I would get used to being judged and start to live more fully.Yes, I'd love to just be alone or otherwise unobserved. What if they thought I was amazing? I could live with that.If I was always coming and going, I wouldn't mind so much what the people in each destination thought of me.I'm more interested in what I observe than what others observe about me.
Do you watch downhill winter sports like ski racing or bobsled runs more than other sports?
Yes! It's a blissful feeling to watch them flying down the slopes and pistes, enjoying the icy wind and the speed. I can see it all on their faces.Yes, I feel connected to the timeless environments too, the ancient mountains.Yes, and I get funny thoughts like what if a sled took off on its own with no one on it? That would look cool!Wow, it'd be like the closest thing to flying, so I definitely watch and get into it.It's one of many things I would love to experience first hand.Sometimes I think about how often they get to see their bones after wrecks on the slopes.
Is it the journey or the arrival that matters more to you?
The journey, and it's the people I meet on the way.The journey; there's no need to rush to the end.The journey takes many forms, and I enjoy experiencing them all.Mostly the arrival; I like to travel quickly. The arrival; I'd do without the journey if I could. The details of the journey are more important to me than simply being somewhere new.
Are you interested in human-made creations or their inner structure?
I'm more interested in the men and women who formed them -- what were they thinking and feeling?Their structure and how long it took to come together. The creations themselves; if I could sit and observe them undisturbed, I would. The creations and what human abilities it took to make them. The creations and the time or place where they were created. The inner structure, definitely.
If someone tells you why or how something happened, are you happier?
Yes, I like to know the story behind what happens?Yes, I love how it takes time for things to come to fruition and happen.Yeah, although I would love to be able to secretly influence the process.I'm not usually so into questions; I'm more of an action-based person.Yes, I'd love to know how the sequence of events unfolded, what got people started, and so on.Definitely the how; I want to know what went into the physical reality of the happening.
Do you tire of activities, or are you always disappointed when time runs out?
I tire; it takes a lot of energy to be present during activities.I often am disappointed at how time runs out and the experience stops.I don't tire very often, but I usually play different roles or sit out the activity for a time to refresh my energy.I am ready to keep on indefinitely, it's just my inner strength which eventually gives out.I don't necessarily tire, but I like to move on and see what else is going on.I tire of superficial activities, but I am drawn into ones that deepen over time.
Do you like to play practical jokes on other people?
Yes, I love their reactions!Yes, but I'm running out of jokes to try and I don't enjoy them as much a second time.Definitely; I like to surprise people and make them laugh, or mystify them.Sure! The element of surprise is one of my favorites.Yeah, especially jokes which involve someone suddenly appearing as if from nowhere.Yeah, I like ones where the details aren't what they thought, like disappearing ink.
Are you a fan of the wild rides at amusement parks?
They are too chaotic and bring wild emotions to the surface.Yes, bring 'em on! We only live once.I could take them or leave them, really.Sure, but sometimes I want to just fly out of my seat at the top and keep going to the sky.I thank goodness that life doesn't require us to experience travel like that.I always worry about how the ride is put together.
When something happens in your life, do you think about both how it came to be and where it might lead?
Yes, and also who was involved in it.Mostly where it might lead; I'm future-oriented.I think of past and future, and whether I have a role or am just an observer.I mostly think of the present and what I can contribute from my own abilities.Sometimes I'd like to be able to review both the origin and future of the event.I'd be more interested in what I could learn about the event by examining it in the present.
Do you shake your presents before you open them?
I try to guess what the person who gave the present would give me.I worry that it's going to be yet another of the same thing like a tie or soap-on-a-rope. I have so many, will it ever stop?I would love to lurk and watch the giver wrap it so I could make perfect guesses each time and astound them.I'd be afraid that I'd break it if I shook it.Why not just pop back to yesterday and see what's getting wrapped?I would love to just be able to see inside the package before I open it.
