Socially, do you prefer a one-on-one dinner or a group gathering?
When the weekend comes, have you organized something lively with your friends, or are you taking it easy with no firm plans?
No plans, just recharge before Monday.A group camping or beach trip, or maybe a pool party!About 50-50 each month, sometimes load up and do something epic, sometimes chill on the patio.Usually home, but if the gang rolls up or we've got a big plan, it's ok.An occasional simple weekend to reset, mostly I like to have stuff to do and people to be with.
Do you like to engage in energetic discussions with a group, or attend an interesting lecture?
After a large party or social event are you tired and drained even if was fun, or energized and ready for more?
What does someone you’ve just met think of you: outgoing, talkative, and friendly or quiet, reserved, calm?
Do you focus on each task you've got lined up, one at a time, or usually multitask several pending activities?
Focus, focus, focus. No interruptions please.I'm the juggler, always taking on one more thing and keeping them all going.Part of the day I'll close my door and focus, but then I'll open it and catch up on a bunch of things.Focus most of the time so I can keep the details straight, but multi-tasking the easier jobs.Lots of balls in the air but sometimes a quiet mindful activity.
When you disagree with a coworker are you quiet in the moment and need time to process it, maybe bringing it up later, or do you just let out your feelings on the spot?
Maybe deal with it later, if I've got the energy and time.Let's resolve it now, let's go!Depending on the issue I'll make sure it's resolved now, or mark it down for further discussion.Occasionally stand up for my views right then and there, usually just let it go and consider it for later.Don't let the other guy walk away until it's done, unless I'm not in the mood.
Were you called shy or quiet as a child?
Yes, but I usually wasn't even around to hear it firsthand, I was doing my own thing. No way! I was into everything and bugging everybody. Some people saw me that way, others saw my more engaged side.Yes, but sometimes people would be surprised by my energy.People sometimes said that, but they were usually just missing the real me.
If you wrote a poem, would you keep it to yourself and perfect it or get it out there and share it with others as-is?
People might discover it decades from now.I write great stuff and people should hear it right away.Depends on the moment, I like to share what I'm working on but not toot my own horn.If I think I've got a good one, I might share a first draft, but usually I'll tuck it away for more work.If I have a few friends over I'll pull it out and read it, of course!
Is meeting new people exciting and interesting or tiring and a bit stressful?
Tiring, even if they're interesting. I just can't.Exciting, interesting and energizing!Interesting and kind of exciting, but if it drags on I'm out of there. It can give me a bit of a boost if they're interesting and help me stick around, but pretty soon I'm too tired.Exciting, but I don't usually stay up too late even at fun events.
If you need to vent about a bad day at work, do you call a friend and talk, or just text someone?
You’re home alone for the afternoon with no plans. Do you call a friend to chat or are you thrilled that you've got some privacy and time to yourself?
Happy and relaxed, no need to connect.I gotta chat, gossip, make a plan for later, get something going!Maybe call if I'm bored, but I can also get out a good book or go for a ride.Relax, but if it's a nice day or I've got something on my mind, I'll see if anyone's available.Chilling is my last resort, first I'll see what I can stir up for the afternoon.
Does it usually take a moment for you to think about a question or is there a quick answer on the tip of your tongue?
When you are focusing on work, are interruptions disruptive and annoying or a welcome break?
How do you feel about small talk? Do you hesitate because it feels unnatural or dive right in and improvise, finding it easy to chat about anything?
It's painful to try to chat about the weather or whatever.I love to pass the time with others, talking about whatever comes up.I can chat when I feel engaged, but sometimes I'm just not into it.Usually the time drags when I am trying to chat, but hit the right topic and I get in the groove.I am a great conversationalist but sometimes I would rather just keep to myself.

No, I need to know what likely lies ahead before I proceed.Oh yeah, I love the thrill of stepping into tthe unknown!I take reasonable risks, nothing too crazy.Sometimes I just say 'what the heck' and take a chance. Usually I am cautious, though.I rush in where fools fear to tread -- mostly. I can be nervous at times.

The quiet beach, definitely.Bring on the 24-hour cruise ship excitement!I could do the cruise, but some days I will take a deck chair and relax. The beach sounds better, but staying in a resort hotel nearby for some action.I always choose a cruise, even share a room, but I keep to myself some days when I feel tired.
How many friends do you have? A few close friends, or many people you hang with?
A few friends, and we tend to have routines when we get together.Lots of friends, and I love it when we have a good adventure together. Many friends, but a few I know I can be myself with.I have a few friends, but sometimes I join the group from work for a night out.I am a social animal, until a down day comes and I take it easy for a while.

Yes, and I usually have some great ideas for new adventures. No, I enjoy doing familiar activities and staying comfortable. If someone says let's go, I'm usually up for it.Every once in a while I let loose and try something new, but I need my routine.I'm always looking for adventure, but I will step away and take a quiet moment along the way.
Are you known as a good listener? Or is it hard to stay connected with someone for long periods of time?
For some reason, I get tired when listening for too long.I love to get connected and interact with someone, listening to what is on their mind.I am glad to exchange ideas with someone or hear them out, but it gets old after a while.I'd rather not get into it with someone, but I can surprise myself and stay engaged for longer periods.I love to sit down and talk when I have the enenergy, which is most of the time.
Are you looking for meaning in your life, or success and popularity?
What comes to mind on a free evening? Getting out and about or dining quietly alone?

When my mind is busy, I like to be quiet and alone.Sure, and I love to get a discussion rolling about my thoughts.I do, but I usually want others to listen and wait while I process my ideas.I think to myself, but sometimes I will get excited and share my thoughts spontaneously.I think and talk about the process, then suddenly go silent when it gets deep.
Do you feel that your ideas are more real when they are discussed?
No, in my world they are real.Yes, others should share my enthusiasm for my ideas and give them life.I love those times when my idea seems particularly compelling and everybody discusses it.I share breakthrough ideas contagiously, but not often.Sometimes I feel like daydreaming intensely, but usually I get up and bring others into my thoughts.
